Welcome back to a new and exciting year with ryEng! This post contains all sorts of useful info to help you get started in the new year!
+The Golden Ram has a new website! The frosh edition is available to pick up outside the office (KHE 123) and the online version has been uploaded.
+The RESS office is kinda open this week. There are no set hours right now, but it’s been open quite consitantly. Come by and say hello and grab a ryEng sticker for your One Card.
+Our ryEng facebook group is getting pretty popular. Why don’t you join?
+Frosh week was an amazing success. There are pictures in the facebook group. You can’t post or join the group anymore, but you sure as heck can view the pictures!
You can pick up a copy outside the RESS office, in the Dungeon or you can just view it here, although sexy things like this are always way better in real life.
And now that the January issue is out, it’s totally time to start sending in your articles for the February edition! Email them to goldenram(at)ress.ca!
A new edition of the Golden Ram is available outside the RESS office and in the dungeon!
In it, our beloved Romeo reminds us that he is graduating this year and needs his successor.
If you’d like to be considered, send him an email with the following information:
- Why do you want to be the engitor?
- How do you plan to pull it off?
- What related skills do you have?
- Can you figure out the engitors email address? (Hint: Pick up a copy of the golden ram, it’s in there.)
The sooner you apply, the better!
The second nooner of the year is being held at the Ram in the Rye at noon on September 30th, which is this coming Thursday!
It’s doubling as the launch party for this months Golden Ram, as well as the launch party for the new Golden Ram INTERNET site, so be sure not to miss it.
Free food and amazing entertainment for engineering students!
It’s baaaaaackkk! Fresh from the dank basement of our mysterious Golden Ram Engitor Jason “Romeo” Cripps is the Frosh Week edition of the Golden Ram, Ryerson Engineering’s official newspaper!
Packed with Eight Glorious Pages of full colour photos and hilarious articles such as “An old Frosh Leader make word arrive” by James Johnson, P.Eng, and “50 things I loved about Frosh Week” by BestHorse Ever, the first Golden Ram issue of the 2010/2011 school year is available on the news stand outside of the RESS Office (KHE 123), and everywhere fine marital aids are sold.
In case you haven’t picked them up yet, you’re in for a treat. The November 2009, and January 2010 unpublished Golden Rams are on newstands now!
Digital copies, as well as the Golden Ram section, will be up soon.
