Walk a mile in her shoes!

There is an old saying: “You can’t really understand another person’s experience until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes.”

That’s why we’re asking men & women and self-identified men & women at Ryerson University to join the Ryerson White Ribbon Campaign to Walk A Mile in Her Shoes! On Thursday September 29th, we’re all going to help end violence against women & girls and all gender-based violence, one step at time.

Ladies and Gents, that time of year is upon us again! It’s time to change the face of men’s cancers and grow a ‘mo to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research. Growing a wacky ’stache in the month of November is a great way to start the conversation about this illness. Just like last year, the Ryerson Engineers are forming a team of ‘mo growers and are collecting donations.

From March 3rd to 4th, noon to noon, come on out to the Ryerson Quad to participate in the Eigth Annual RyEng Bug Push!

Once again, Ryerson Engineering students welcome all the help we can get pushing an authentic 1960’s Volkswagen Beetle, our pride and joy, around the Ryerson quad for 24 hours straight. All proceeds from this event benefit Sick Kids Hospital, a highly-regarded medical centre in Toronto credited for saving the lives of countless sick children since 1875.
