Bug Push!

March 5th, 2012 tash No comments

Once again, Ryerson Engineering students welcome all the help we can get pushing an authentic 1950’s [Thanks Felix] Volkswagen Beetle, our pride and joy, around the Ryerson quad for 24 hours straight. All proceeds from this event benefit Sick Kids Hospital, a highly-regarded medical centre in Toronto credited for saving the lives of countless sick children since 1875.

You can sign up in the RESS Office, KHE 123 for a specific time in a group, or just show up and help! There will be food and drink for those who participate at various times over the event.

Besides helping raise money for Sick Kids, you also get a chance to participate in the camaraderie of engineering students! Come meet new friends, break up the monotony of an all-nighter and get some exercise. There will be media and dignitaries from the school stopping by, so don’t forget to look your best.

Want to donate online? Of course you do! Donate through the Sick Kids website here!

Do you use the facebook? Want to find out about all the National Engineering Month events we have going on? THIS IS FACTS.
