Love Ryerson Engineering? No, I mean to you REALLY love Ryerson Engineering? How would you like to show that love to the world?
On October 5, 2010 from 11am-3pm in the RESS Office (KHE123), we will be having a fitting session for anyone interested in obtaining their custom fitted, handmade, highly enviable Engineering Leather Jacket.
The required down payment at the time of fitting is $200, which can be paid in cash or credit (no debit).
UPDATE: Don’t forget to come out for Jacket Night when you receive your leather!
It’s baaaaaackkk! Fresh from the dank basement of our mysterious Golden Ram Engitor Jason “Romeo” Cripps is the Frosh Week edition of the Golden Ram, Ryerson Engineering’s official newspaper!
Packed with Eight Glorious Pages of full colour photos and hilarious articles such as “An old Frosh Leader make word arrive” by James Johnson, P.Eng, and “50 things I loved about Frosh Week” by BestHorse Ever, the first Golden Ram issue of the 2010/2011 school year is available on the news stand outside of the RESS Office (KHE 123), and everywhere fine marital aids are sold.
Following a successful parade down Yonge street, our beloved RyEng bug gets a tow back to its unknown fortress of solitude to await its next revealing.
Stay tuned for Frosh Week and Parade photos! Oh, and welcome back to RyEng.ca!
The due date for thesis grants is THIS FRIDAY! Check the documents section, and have your form filled out and into the RESS office this Friday or you will not receive your thesis grant money!. Please tell other thesis students this date change if they do not already know!
The East Toronto chapter of PEO (Professional Engineers of Ontario) will be holding a wine and cheese party at the beginning of the 2010 Fall semester. The event will be a great opportunity for you to meet and greet local engineers, as well as network with potential employers. Interested?
If you’re currently enrolled in engineering at Ryerson, by now you will have recently an email from the RESS Chief Returning Officer regarding the current RESS elections for the 2010-2011 school year.
If you have not voted already, you can access your ballot from the link that has been emailed to you. Positions that are running unopposed require a majority “yes” vote to win.
Voting runs from Wednesday, March 10th to Friday, March 12th. If you have not received an email yet, you can contact the RESS Chief Returning Officer Zohair Khan at email@example.com.
