Attention students! Are you interested in attending the ESSCO AGM? Of course you are! Here is a description from the applications:
ESSCO Annual General Meeting
June 15th-17th, 2012
Queen’s University, Kingston
Application Deadline: April 30th 2012
Engineering Student Societies’ Council of Ontario Annual General Meeting is a great opportunity for students who are wishing to become involved or are already involved with their student society. This is also beneficial for students wishing to become involved with external groups and projects such as ESSCO. If you are interested in applying for a position on ESSCO please note that in your application. At ESSCO AGM the sessions revolve around how to improve Engineering Student Societies and how to make them more useful for students. This is also where decisions for ESSCO are voted on as well as voting for the new executive for the 2012-2013 year.
How much do you want to apply now? Do so by filling out this form.
Please complete and submit via email to email@example.com or to the RESS Office (KHE 123)
(Note: the RESS Office is not open during exams)
The minutes of this meeting have been updated and can be found here.
Students received an email this morning about a special general meeting which was called for this coming Tuesday:
This is to inform you that there is a Special General Meeting happening
this Tuesday, April 10th at 4 pm, in KHS134. This meeting is separate from
the Annual General Meeting (which you should also attend!). The only agenda
item for this meeting will be regarding The Impeachment of Jolene Funk as
2012-2013 Vice President External.
Certainly, this has raised some questions. The pertinent information for students to read would be the minutes for the meeting at which this was brought forth, which can be found here. Members (meaning all undergraduate engineering students at Ryerson University) should also read the by-laws and constitution, which can be found in the documents section of the web site.
RESS understands that this may be quite confusing, and encourage all members to attend this meeting to ensure their voices are heard.
