Students received an email this morning about a special general meeting which was called for this coming Tuesday:
Hello Everyone,
This is to inform you that there is a Special General Meeting happening
this Tuesday, April 10th at 4 pm, in KHS134. This meeting is separate from
the Annual General Meeting (which you should also attend!). The only agenda
item for this meeting will be regarding The Impeachment of Jolene Funk as
2012-2013 Vice President External.
Certainly, this has raised some questions. The pertinent information for students to read would be the minutes for the meeting at which this was brought forth, which can be found here. Members (meaning all undergraduate engineering students at Ryerson University) should also read the by-laws and constitution, which can be found in the documents section of the web site.
RESS understands that this may be quite confusing, and encourage all members to attend this meeting to ensure their voices are heard.
