RESS Elections! Make Yourself Heard!

February 6th, 2012 Goat No comments

RESS Prez vote: February 16-17 | RESS VP/BoD vote: March 8-9

RESS Elections are coming up and now’s the time to get involved! This year elections are being run a bit differently, though, so here’s part of what was sent to me to describe it:

This year we are doing things differently. There will be two votes: one period to vote for the president followed by a period for voting for VPs and Directors. This encourages more competition for the presidency and ensures that qualified candidates are not locked out of VP candidacy by running for president. You are encouraged to read the calender enclosed to gain a better understanding of how this will work. We will be accepting VP and Director nominations immediately, but the deadline for those occurs after the presidential results are announced.

The image above links to the timeline, and all forms are or will be available in the documents section of this website. Good luck to those running, and for everyone else, make yourself heard!
